It is imperative that you study the class syllabus to understand the course requirements, software needs, textbook,
assignment and exam schedule.
- Additionally, from my homepage you will find links to exam reviews, student files, video
notes, software downloads, instructions concerning zipping your files and uploading to Blackboard.
Writing valid code
- No coding will be accepted that does not compile.
- Tutoring is provided. Do not wait until you are so far behind that you cannot catch up. Check
the left column on my homepage for the current tutoring schedule.
Class communication (required)
- My homepage is linked to my Blackboard pages.
You are responsible for making sure that you can access Blackboard.
- Email - your ACC provided email will be used for class communication.
You must prove to me that you have accessed your ACC email. I will send an email to your ACC
account. You must respond to that email.
You can go into your ACC email account
and bounce your mail to another email address if you wish.

for instructions. And set up your account now.
- Already have an account? Go to

- If you do not anticipate checking this account, simply forward your email to another account.
- Once logged into your account, across the top bar to the right of your email address click
Settings
In the Yellow settings bar, click Forwarding and POP/IMAP
Click the radio button Forward a copy of incoming mail to
Enter the email address of your choice
Select your choice of retaining email from the drop down box
Make your selections for POP download
Click on Save Changes
