How to Upload?

1.  If you need to download SSH, go to http://www.austincc.edu/jscholl/software/software.htm
2. Click on the link SSH
3. A screen will pop up saying save it to disk.Click OK

4. Install the SSH file that you downloaded.
5. After installing the SSH client, a program group will be created in your start menu. "SSH Secure Shell"
6. From the start menu run "Secure File Transfer Client".You will see a screen like the one below.

7. On the file menu click Quick Connect. You will see another screen pop up. It will look like the screen below. Enter the following information:
    Host Name: cois-linux.austincc.edu
    User Name: Your LoginName
    Port Number: Automatically given by your computer.
    Authentication Method: Profile Settings
    Click Connect.

8. Another screen will pop up saying "Host Identification".Click on yes

9. Next you will see a password screen pop up.
    Enter your password.

10. Finally you are connected to the remote System.
    The left Pane is your Local file System from which you will upload files.
    The right pane will be your remote file system where "public_html" is located.

    Load your files into your public_html folder.

11. Double click on the public_html folder in the right pane.

12. Point, click, and hold down the mouse button to the file or folder that you want to upload in the left pane.
13. Drag the file or folder to the right pane.

If you have a file uploaded that you want to delete, do the following.
14. Right click on the file to highlight it.
15. Select delete.

To delete a folder, you must first delete all files inside of the folder.
Do not delete the password files or any system files that you can view. These are needed!
