Test 4 and Final Exam Study Guide

Test 4 will be available in the Northridge Testing Center from Tuesday, May 1, through Friday, May 4th.  The test covers Sections 8.3-8.8. You may use an 8 1/2" by 11" page of notes.  Attach the page to your test when you turn the test in.

In studying for Test 4, you may omit the following problems from your Homework List:
    Section 8.3:  omit 3, 5
    Section 8.4:  omit 37
    Section 8.5:  omit 25
    Section 8.6:  omit 27, 29
    Section 8.7:  omit 3, 7, 23, 49, 55
    Section 8.8:  omit parts b and c of 11, 15, 17

The Final Exam will be given in two parts.  Part I will be given in the classroom during regular class time on Tuesday, May 8th.  To prepare for Part I, study your corrected Tests 1 and 2.  Part II will be given in the classroom during regular class time on Thursday, May 10th.  To prepare for Part II, study your corrected Tests 3 and 4. You may use a 3" by 5" card of notes for each part of the Final. Turn in the note card stapled to your complete exam.
