Basic Math Skills

 

Welcome to your distance learning Basic Math Skills class.  Here you will find all the information you need to get started working and learning.  Please read this entire site carefully and follow all directions here.

You must have Adobe Reader to open the course documents.  If you do not have it, click on this link  to download this free program.

Download the Course Information Handout:  You should download and print the  Course Information Handout  right now and read it very carefully.  Keep this handout with your class materials.  This handout contains textbook information, software information, my grading policy, your weekly homework and testing schedule, and lots of other very important things!

MyMathLab Information:  MyMathLab is required for this course.  Please read the Information about MyMathLab for Basic Math Skills handout.   This handout contains purchasing options and login information.

Information About the Text and MyMathLab:  Our textbook is MATD 0330 Basic Math Skills uses Prealgebra, 4th editon by Blair, Tobey, & Slater.    Click here for a picture of your book and additional information.

Set up your ACC email account:  I will use your ACCmail address for all email communication. If you use a different email address, be sure to set up your ACCmail to forward to the address you use.

Complete the Online Orientation: Log on to Blackboard and complete the online orientation.  Please complete the orientation by February 20th to ensure you are not dropped from the course.

Logon to MyMathLab:  Follow the instructions in the Information about MyMathLab for Basic Math Skills handout and register in MyMathLab.  You will then log in, and you will be ready to begin your lessons for week 1.   You will see announcements and further instructions from me there.
