Hi all,

To use Google's Blogger service you must use or create a Google Account with an email address other than your ACCmail address (taking the general form firstname.lastname@g.austincc.edu). Trying to access Blogger with a Google Account attached to your ACCmail address will generate an error message that reads: "THIS SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE."

NOTE: For the curious among you, ACC subscribes to a suite of services from Google and Blogger is not part of that suite. This may change in the future.

Take the following to steps sign into (or create a new) Google account attached to an email address other than your ACC mail address.

1) Go to http://www.google.com

2) Look in the upper right corner. Does your name or email address appear there? If so, select your name (or the downward pointing icon by your email address) and select Sign Out.

3) If you already have a Google account attached to an email address other than your ACCmail address, sign into that account by selecting Sign in from the upper right corner.

4) If you don't already have a Google account attached to an email address other than your ACCmail address,go to https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount and create a new Google account using an email address other than your ACCmail address. The email address you use to create your Google account does not have to be a gmail address. You'll use this account to log in to Blogger.

5) After creating your new Google Account, go to http://www.blogger.com. If asked to do so, log in with your new Google account.
