The Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism, Meeting & Event Management, and Culinary Arts Programs were sponsors and event producers of the Mayor’s Balcony VIP Reception during Austin’s annual First Night celebrations, held on New Year’s Eve. Faculty and students assisted in complete service of the event, back-of-house production, and event production. They also provided a dessert “cupcake” showpiece highlighting the artist’s theme of the event. 

ACC Cypress Creek Campus received national coverage in the December 2007 issue of College Planning & Management magazine. The campus expansion project at Cypress Creek was one of four projects selected by the publication to be featured in its December Facility Focus Section that highlighted community colleges.
