If you are a student registered
for this course, you should be able to access materials for this course on Blackboard about 1 week before the session begins.
If you want to start getting ahead, here are some suggestions:
1. Come by my office (SAC Rm. 1313.5 on 3rd floor) and pick up your textbook.
2. Buy all of the supplies you will need for the classroom. (Click on Textbooks & Supplies above)
3. Read the sample syllabus I have posted on my website. It will be similar to the one I hand out on the first day of class.
4. I will soon be posting materials on Blackboard. Play with the buttons on the left of the Blackboard screen to get familiar with the materials I will have available throughout the semester. You do NOT need to print out any of the handouts yet. I will take copies of all you need on the first day of class. I will let you know then what you need to print out.
5. If this is the first time you take classes at SAC, come to the campus, so that you can explore our campus (locate our classroom, check out our library, check out Simon’s café, check out where the various Student Services offices are located, etc.)
