INFORMATION FOR FACULTY SUBMITTING PORTFOLIOS
The following information is meant to remind you what constitutes a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year portfolio. It also shows you the standards that will be used to evaluate your portfolio. The written standards are offered. Plus, the form that the committee will be using is also available in order for you to be conscious of what it is being looked for. Furthermore, definitions for Teaching Philosophy, Course Commentary, and a Faculty Development Plan are also offered. Feel free to touch base with colleagues on your own campus, the Government Department Faculty Evaluation Committee Chair, or the Department Chair if you have questions about the portfolio process. And, remember, the portfolio is an opportunity for you brag about yourself and what you do every day in your classroom and with your students!
Submission of a portfolio in November of each year (when scheduled) is required to remain on the eligibility list.
