Testing Centers - This page contains locations, hours, phone numbers,
and policies for ACC Testing Centers.
Learning
Labs - One of ACC's best student resources are the free, walk-in tutoring
labs. Their home page contains locations, hours, and tutor schedule.
Exam Notes - These are
general notes for all classes about how I grade exams and some advice on how
to prepare for them.
Writing mathemtics with a keyboard - A fancy symbol editor isn't necessary for most basic notation.
Graphing Tutorials
- There are links here to resources on the web and a couple of things I wrote.
Peanuts
Software - After 7 years, I still like Richard Parris' free
software for PCs. Winplot is a graphing program with capabilitiy comparable
to a TI-89. Winmat is a matrix program and a good substitute for the matrix
capabilities found in the TI-83; it's faster and handles larger matrices and
operations more easily, including linear programming.
