Once you are logged in, you have the ability to add images to your own "lightbox". If you frequently download a particular file, you can add it to your lightbox so that you do not have to search for it each time. Think of it as a shortcut to a file. Also a lightbox can be used as a holding area for files that you would like to use later on. We will cover adding files to the lightbox files under the "File options" section.
Control Panel:
The control panel page allows you to specify some simple settings regarding your "Resources" profile. Here you can:
- Adjust your email (but please keep it set to a valid ACC email),
- Show my email address: If you input a comment or do some other interactive tasks here at "Resources" your email address will appear
- Receive emails from administrators: Allows you to receive important news about "Resources" such as notification of new files added or other news
- Hide your online status: Hides your status from the "Currently Active" info box on the homepage

File Options
Getting what you need from "Resources" is the system's main function. Here's how you do it:
Find a file you would like to use by either browsing through the available categories or searching by key terms.
Once you find a file you would like to use select it.
On this screen you will see a variety of options and information about the file. The following screen shot is numbered in accordance with that function.

- Preview of the file. Often this may be a low resolution screen shot or a simple icon to signify the files type.
- Lightbox - Selecting this will add the image to your own personal lightbox. Please see Lightbox under the "Lightbox , Control Panel, and Logging out" section of this document.
- eCard - Selecting this turns the file into an electronic ecard that you can send through email.
- Download - Clicking this button brings up the save file as dialog box, prompting you to save the file to your local hard drive.
- Download (with zip file icon) : clicking this instructs Resources to please put this file into a .zip file before asking me to save it. This is often helpful for high resolution images and other large files.
- This area contains information about the file itself:

Keywords: "Resources' ' search engine uses these words to find files for those who use the search box function
Date: This is the date in which the file was added to "Resources"
Hits: How many times the file has been viewed
Downloads: How many times the file has been downloaded

File size: How big the file is. By taking a look at this a user may or may not select the "Download in .zip file" option for this file when downloading.
