The minimum required work in this course includes all of these:
If this seems like more work than you need to do to learn the material,
then this is not the right course for you.
If any of this is a problem, please email
me and let's discuss it.
If you do enroll in the course and then find that you are unable to
meet the deadlines, I certainly want to help you but you must email
me with details to start a discussion about it. You will be required
to report to me regularly (a couple of times each week),
and spend additional time on the software, so that I can be sure that
you will be able to finish the course. You will also be required to
work productively on the software for about 8 hours each week until
you catch up (perhaps longer if you are more than a week behind).
How can I predict?
If you expect to only do the minimum required work in the software,
I encourage you to try the software first. Read the details above
and try it on a lesson or two to see if you really are able to do
all the Pretest problems. Once you are enrolled in the course, you'll
need to do whatever it takes to learn the material, not just the minimum.
I recommend that you look over the Test
Reviews before you start the course. Probably you can just go
down the list of problems and develop a pretty good idea of how many
of those problems you could do easily and correctly without review.
