Demonstrating your Reading Skills

Taking a course by Distance Learning requires good reading skills. If you are TASP/THEA - mandated in reading, you must have my permission, before the course begins, to be in this course.

To get permission to enroll even though you are TASP/THEA - mandated in reading, you must show me that you will be able to read the materials and do the work in the course. You must complete the entire orientation for this course satisfactorily, including Orientation Form 2.

After the course begins, I will receive a roster that indicates whether each student is TASP/THEA mandated in the various areas. If it shows that you are mandated in reading and you did not complete the entire orientation for the course before the course began, I may withdraw you from the course and you will not be eligible for a refund of your tuition and fees.

I know that this may seem rather harsh to you, but one of the basic skills necessary in an online course like this is good reading skills (you have probably noticed there is a lot to read).
