IN-CLASS SECTIONS

If you are trying to decide whether to take this class online or in person, I highly recommend in person and can say with certainty that you'll learn more, enjoy it more, and in all likelihood earn a better grade.

Even in an in-class setting I will caution you about one thing - if you are considering this class before you have completed college-level English Composition and History, do realize that it will be more difficult for you - unless you are a very good writer and feel comfortable with your understanding of US History. If you are an international student, do not consider taking this class before taking English Comp. and History.

With all of that said, I look forward to teaching you about government and politics and discussing things like mosques near ground zero and what the government should do about unemployment and oil drilling, and the governor's threat to secede, Texas's education and transportation issues and whether the city of Austin should spend another $1 billion dollars on ligh rail and allow more development along town lake

Look to the right for links for the specific classes I'm teaching this semester and I'll see you in a few days.
