We are using the same materials in all the sections of MATD 0330, but in the Distance Learning classes you are absolutely required to use the MyMathLab software program. That is also true in some, but not all, of the classroom sections. You are also required to do paper homework from the book. The MyMathLab software includes an electronic version of the book, but most students find it inconvenient to use only that. I suggest you get the package from the bookstore that has the access code for MyMathLab and the paper book, in looseleaf fashion, with holes punched so you can put it in a notebook. Find more detailed information about the required materials under "Required Materials" on the General Course Information page from the link on the left. So, to begin, start the online Orientation. The first part of the Orientation is to be done several weeks before the class begins, when there is still time to change classes if needed. The second part of the Orientation should be done before the class begins and before you purchase your materials. The third part of the Orientation is to be done in the first half of the first week of class. Go to the Orientation Activities.
