January 2010. Buying used books.

At the end of last semester, for some reason that isn't clear, the bookstore would not buy back the books for this course from almost all of my students. Below is a list students who have one or both books for sale.

I am not involved in advising you on prices, etc. Here is a page I printed, with prices, from ACC's official bookstore, after requesting the books for this class.

I have no reason to think that any of my students are not completely trustworthy, but, as you do not know each other, I recommend that you arrange to meet in public places, like a library or coffee shop and that you pay for the books with cash. These seem to me to be reasonable precautions for transactions between students who don't already know each other.
