Textbook: Moore, David, Basic Practice of Statistics, 5th edition.

This edition of the book was used beginning in Fall 2009. You can't use any earlier edition.

Materials needed:
Required: StatsPortal (web portal for the course materials) and regular Internet access to use it.
This includes an electronic version of the book.
Required: MINITAB software
Optional: Hard copy of the textbook
Computer: MINITAB does not run on Macs unless they are set up to run PC software. .
If you don't have access to a PC to run MINITAB,
email me for some discussion before you commit yourself to this class.
