The Orientation is Lesson 00 in this course. Read the following parts in order. Please complete this well before the class begins.

- Lesson 00 Activities (Includes filling out two Orientation forms.)
- Lesson 00: Software: Check on the software
- Quiz 00. Deadline: The first day of the first week of class, by 11 p.m.
Each of the lessons in the course has these same four parts: overview, activities, software, quiz. You can find this orientation put together into "Lesson 00" from the page of "Lessons and Quizzes." Find that from within Blackboard, from the Course Documents button in this course.
In most semesters students will be able to see their current courses in Blackboard starting about Tuesday of the week before classes begin. So, after that time, be sure to check in Blackboard to find the "Lessons and Quizzes" page so that you will be able to start work on Lesson 01 as soon as classes begin. (It is OK to start work on it a bit earlier if you wish, but the Discussion Board doesn't start until classes begin.)
