RAINBOW HORIZONTAL LINE

I love teaching this course!! It is so easy to find practical examples of how these ideas are used. One of my students said that this was the best course she'd taken in college so far because every day when she reads the newspaper she sees examples of what we're learning about!

One student did a project for the course on some data from work (about some hormonal differences between low-birth-weight and normal-birth-weight babies) and her results were presented at a national conference in her field. It was a connection that several people had commented on before, but no one had actually done a statistical analysis of some data yet.

If you already have some data that you want to analyze, that would be great! The textbook has lots of interesting and useful examples too.

Welcome to the course.
