In Chapters 4 and 5, we are focusing on learning
to do the algebra involved in carrying out calculus computations
by hand. On the test, you will not be allowed to use a graphing
calculator (for most of the test). Make sure that you are learning
to do the problems algebraically. In class and in the homework,
there will be occasional problems where you will be expected to
use your graphing calculator to solve a particularly difficult
equation or something like that. If you are in doubt about whether
you are supposed to be doing a particular computation without
a calculator, please ask.
Test 4 covers material through Chapter 5, section
3, and integral problems on the handout.
Here is the list of problems to turn in for the homework,
also indicating when you should be doing each section.

TEST
To review for Test 4, review the homework, and then
make up practice tests for yourself from problems in the Chapter
4 Review and the Chapter 5 Review, up through problem 14.
