"Homework" from Oct 28

Mary Parker presented this idea and the group agreed to send her their additions to these lists by Nov. 4. She will compile all of them and in the Nov 11 meeting, we will fill in the grid about when students should be told about each. (That will work better if the lists are fairly complete before we start.)

Mary's original explanation:

"I think we all agreed in our first meeting that ACC needs to tell students more about both resources to help them succeed in school and the consequences of withdrawing from classes.

If you will help me make the following lists of resources and consequences complete at the 10-28 meeting, then we can each think about how/when each particular piece of information should be provided to the student and maybe fill out a grid like the one on the next page at our next meeting. When we have such a grid filled out, it will indicate the tasks that need to be accomplished (such as revise new student orientation or prepare a webform for students to fill out when they want to do an online withdrawal) and we will probably be able to assign those tasks to specific people to accomplish."
