Minitab Manual by Greenberg, 4th edition

The chapters of this Manual are available within StatsPortal and the Online Study Center. Each chapter is a pdf file, that you can either view on the web or print, or download to your computer to view offline.

The Manual describes using MINITAB, Version 15. There is little difference between versions 15 and 14. (According to Dr. Greenberg, who wrote the Manual, there are no differences in anything we normally do in Elementary Statistics.) Version 14 is in our ACC department computer labs and the Student Version of 14 is packaged with our text and available in the bookstore for our Distance Learning class and for other students who wish to purchase it. If you rent ($30) or buy ($99) MINITAB from www.minitab.com you'll get version 15.

This Manual was written to be published as a paperback book, but we didn't order any of those for ACC because students will have access to StatsPortal, including this Manual, free when they purchase a new textbook. And if the students purchase a used book, there are many features of StatsPortal that are not available anywhere else, so we expect they will purchase that access and have the Manual as part of it.
