MINITAB Notes and Explanations
We will be providing a very brief summary, chapter by chapter, of the MINITAB menu choices needed to do the analyses in that chapter. The first few of those will be available on this page by Jan. 20, 2007, and the rest shortly after that.
These will not be nearly as complete as the information provided in the MINITAB Manual.
In the required homework assignments for the course, some problems are listed with (M) beside them, indicating that you must use MINITAB on some part. In some cases, it is not obvious from the statement of the problem in the book how you should use MINITAB. For those, you must look up the statement of the problem in the MINITAB Manual. It is the same problem, but you can do some tasks more completely using MINITAB (as described in the Manual) than by hand (as described in the textbook.)
