MTH 1764 - Precalculus: Functions and Graphs

(Four credit hours, four lecture hours per week during a 16-week semester, no lab hours)

Catalog description: This is a course designed to prepare students for Math 1854 Calculus I. Content incudes algebraic, logarithmic, exponential, and trigonometric functions and equations; parametric equations; and the polar coordinate system. Prerequisites: High school precalculus (including trigonometry) or one semester high school trigonometry or MTH 1753 or the equivalent.
