MATD 0370 Elementary Algebra (DVM 1173)

(Three credit hours, four lecture hours per week during a 16-week semester, no lab hours)

Catalog description: A course designed to develop the skills and understanding contained in the first year of secondary school algebra. Topics include arithmetic of positive and negative numbers; products and factoring; algebraic fractions; and equations. Prerequisites: C or better in Prealgebra, MATD 0350, its equivalent knowledge, or a passing score on the MATD 0370 placement test.
