MATH 1336 - Modern Math II (MTH 1533)

(Three credit hours, three lecture hours per week during a 16-week semester, no lab hours)

Catalog description: A second course designed for elementary education majors and liberal arts majors emphasizing areas of elementary school mathematics not included in MTH 1523. Topics include: probability and statistics,geometry, measurement, and coordinate geometry. Prerequisites: same as MATH 1335. Students are encouraged, but not required, to take MATH 1335 before MTH 1336.
