Mary Parker's description of what we need to do (in consultation with Mary Hannigan)
I thought we had until mid-Feb to get these into the Curriculum Committee but, based on a conversation with Donetta today, I think I need to get it in immediately. (Apparently there is a little extra time for DVM.) Mary H and I talked and we think the proposed descriptions (below) are reasonable for what we want, nicely split up the topics from THECB list of topics for these courses, and avoid the "buzz words" that might ruffle the feathers of some. We still don't plan to offer 1583 next year, or at least not in the fall. We'll wait and see how it all plays out, as I've described in other messages and at the TF meetings.
If you want to look at a web page with these proposals, our current ones, and THECB wording, go to our usual internal web page, where I just posted that. (That's this web page!!)
If any of you want to object to these, please send me an email message no later than Thursday, Jan 21, at 1:00 p.m.
