Checking enrollments on the Web (Jan. 20, 1999)

I think this method only works if you are logged in through ACC, meaning that this is part of the Intranet.

I know that we all check the Web from time to time to follow enrollments. But that is frustrating because it doesn't say how many are enrolled -- just how many empty seats. We need to look at the "50's" As of last week, those 50's are online and apparently are updated often (at least daily). The online version is not as convenient as a printed copy to look at, but it's a lot easier to get!

Go to http://is.austin.cc.tx.us/ and select "Soft Copy Services". From there, you get a long list of available reports. If you want to see enrollments for the current semester, go to "Complete course listing for 9920" and select Index. From that page, select the page you want to start at. It takes a little practice to figure out where to start. Note that DVM and MTH are in different places. When you pick a page, like 109, you can go to 110 just by scrolling down, but you can't go back to 108 by scrolling up. So I start at the very first DVM listing and then scroll down to the rest of DVM. Then I go back to the menu page to find the MTH stuff.

PS. You can also find a link to this from http://www.austin.cc.tx.us/schedule/s9920/ That's been the "internal" page for the schedule before. If you want a different semester, just change the numbers at the end.
