ACC (as most colleges) has a number of entry-level college-credit mathematics courses.
Not all of them will transfer to all schools and count in all degree programs.

Also, you should consult the degree plan you wish to follow. ACC degree plans are listed in our catalog. If you are undecided about your major, we suggest that you think of several degree plans that you might be interested in and look at the requirements for all of them. In this case, it would make sense to concentrate most of your efforts on taking courses that count in several of these plans. (Of course, it is a good idea to take a few of the more specialized courses so that you can determine which field is more interesting to you.)
If your educational goal will require a four-year degree, it would be a good idea to look at the degree requirements of at least two four-year schools in which you are most interested. Search the web for your school of interest, or use one of these collections of links: many two-year colleges | many universities
When determining whether a specific course will transfer to another college and count in a specific degree plan, the only information that you should rely upon is given by the college that will be accepting the course. So, if you want to determine whether an ACC course will transfer to UT Austin, you must ask at UT Austin.
ACC does make an effort to stay informed about which of our courses will transfer to which four-year colleges in our area. Each year, ACC receives information from various colleges and prints that in our catalog. (Find it under "General Information" and then "Transfer of Credit" from the ACC catalog.) Looking at the lists here SHOULD NOT replace checking with the four-year college about what will count in your proposed major.
