Three-page summary: We have made available a three-page document that gives the highlights of the advising information that is available on the Web. It includes additional information about how to interpret the COMPASS scores. The latter option (Rich Text Format) is better for printing.

If you choose to print out additional math advising information from the Web, you may do so, but we encourage you not to do so as a general rule. There is a substantial amount of info available and you will find it difficult to organize it in a notebook! If you want a copy of the parts we have in paper documents, please call and ask.

Math Levels as achieved by courses taken. (pdf | rtf) This chart is proposed by the math department to indicate the levels if the college is going to extend the idea of placement levels to indicate appropriate placement even after the student has begun taking ACC courses. (The college did this as late as the early 90's, but it isn't clear whether it has been continued. Possibly this will be replaced by simply listing the courses that a student has taken at ACC rather than assigning levels.)
