Why does ACC manage this rather than the publisher?

We are grateful to the publishing company for making all this material available for free.

Their system of distributing electronic files is through their web portal, for which each student needs an individual account. We wanted students to be able to see these before they bought the materials.

So a representative of the publishing company asked if we could set up a password-restricted page to use as an entrance to the site. I (Mary Parker) was asked to do that. I am not a web designer - I am a math teacher. I have used passwords some on websites, but am not an expert on it. I have set this up in the same way I have always set up password sites. I do know that the site works for most people who have tried it. I am not a computer technician and can't guarantee that I can help you figure out any problems you might have with the site, but I will try.

No answers are provided. The books themselves have answers to the odd-numbered problems in a section at the end of the book. If you are using these pages, you'll need to take your work and look at the instructor's book or another student's book to check your answers if you need to do that before you purchase the book yourself.

If you have problems accessing the site, please read this and try these things before contacting me.
