Effective Fall 2001, Texas has changed the courses required for certification for Elementary / Middle School teachers and the courses MATH 1335 and MATH 1336 will no longer count nor be offered after Summer 2001. Students will be required to take one regular mathematics course "equivalent to College Algebra" as a prerequisite for the specialized courses for prospective teachers – MATH 1350 and MATH 1351. MATH 1350 and MATH 1351 will be offered at ACC beginning in Fall 2001.
