MATH 1350 -- Mathematics for Middle Grade Teacher Certification I

(Three credit hours, three lecture hours per week during a 16-week semester, no lab hours)

* Catalog description: Concepts of sets, functions, numeration systems, number theory and properties of the natural numbers,
integers, rational and real number systems with and emphasis on problem solving and critical thinking. This course is designed specifically for students who seek middle grades (4-8) teacher certification. Prerequisites: College Algebra or the equivalent with a C or better. ( )
