The IRS form 1098-T (Tuition Statement) is issued for each student enrolled and for whom a reportable transaction is made. Beginning in tax year 2018, ACC reports payments received for qualified tuition and related expenses, and no longer reports amounts billed for qualified tuition and fees. For a payment to be reportable, it must relate to qualified tuition and related expenses billed during the same calendar year. Amounts paid will be limited to the amount of qualified tuition and related expenses billed within the same calendar year. Please note that qualified tuition/expenses are billed on the day that a student registers, which may have been in 2017.

The form is available on the college website through Self-Service. Students do not have to be currently enrolled to access their Self-Service account. Students who do not remember their password, may contact the Student Services Help Desk at 512-223-4636 or use the ACCeID Manager. 1098-T forms cannot be sent via email.
