Press Conference: ACC students encourage voting

Austin, TX – April 22, 2008 – ACC’s Center for Public Policy and Political Studies (CPPPS) encourages its students to get involved in government as part of their education. Ana Jackson already passed College Algebra, but she’s repeating the class. This time, she signed on as peer tutor for a new program that launched this spring at Austin Community College.

Long Center hosts ACC-ProArts production
The ACC Drama Department and ProArts Collective have produced a compelling drama about the last days of blues artist Robert Johnson. The play is written by Bill Harris and directed by Marcus McQuirter.

The Austin Community College District (ACC) and Austin Independent School District (AISD) dedicated a new automotive training center April 1 at Crockett High School that will help address the region’s shortage of skilled auto workers.

GW Hildebrand’s resume is as impressive as it is long. State trooper. Texas Ranger. FBI profiler. Criminal justice professor. And to think he went to college to become a dentist.
