Illustre-stage Presents “Follies Molière 2012”

Illustre-stage celebrates 10 years of bringing French cultural theatre to Austin Community College with “Follies Molière 2012.” Performances will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, June 30, and 4 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at the Rio Grande Campus Gallery Theatre (1212 Rio Grande St., third floor).

Created and directed by ACC Adjunct Professor Véronique Mazet, the three-act play in French and English is a whimsical homage to the 17th century French playwright Molière. All are invited to come and meet some of his most famous characters, Tartuffe, Le malade Imaginaire, Les Femmes Savantes, and Scapin, and even Molière himself.

Admission is free and parking is available. For more information, contact Mazet at vmazet@austincc.edu, or visit the Illustre-stage website.
