Support Your Community and Send a Card to Someone in Need, Nov. 19-20

ACC students and The SidusLink Project partner to clean up a local park.

A few kind words go a long way. Join fellow Riverbats and create a greeting card for a person in need Nov. 19 and 20.

In support of Meals on Wheels and More’s efforts to bring food and support to the elderly and other homebound residents, the SidusLink Project will host card-making tables at several ACC campuses. The cards will be given to Meals on Wheels recipients to show that someone is thinking of them. Materials will be provided.

Cypress Creek, Northridge, Eastview, Riverside: Tuesday, Nov. 19 (11 a.m.-2 p.m.)

Pinnacle, Rio Grande, South Austin, Round Rock: Wednesday, Nov. 20 (11 a.m.-2 p.m.)

Cards will be delivered by Meals on Wheels volunteers the following week.

“As the future leaders of Austin, let’s remember those who led before us and thank them in this special way,” said SidusLink Project Co-Founder and ACC Management Professor Scott Goyette.

The SidusLink Project connects ACC students with volunteer opportunities in and around Austin. For more information, contact Goyette at or (512) 748.0803.
