ACC faculty, staff, and students can learn about public transit options for Austin’s central corridor at an interactive workshop sponsored by Project Connect. The event will be Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at ACC Highland (6001 Airport Blvd.).
The community is invited to drop in to review information or provide input on potential transit projects for the area encompassing ACC Highland, the University of Texas at Austin, downtown, and East Riverside. Project Connect representatives will be on hand to give an overview and answer questions about potential service, transit types, and routes for “high-capacity transit” (urban rail, streetcar, bus rapid transit). Light refreshments, music, and children’s activities are planned.
