ACC introduces new core curriculum requirements & classes

The core curriculum requirements have been implemented for all new students entering Austin Community College beginning in fall 2014.

The new requirements reflect revised categories and classes to align with changes proposed by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) to streamline transfer across the state’s public colleges and universities.

New students should use this core curriculum as a general guide when selecting ACC classes for the Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Arts in Teaching degrees and/or preparing for university transfer.

Current and former students who entered ACC within the last five years have the option of adopting the new core curriculum or following a previous version that was in effect when they entered ACC or subsequent semesters.

Why is it that ACC can create a new web page or add new program requirements, but they are unable to post grades on time or without having to call 100 people to find out why they arent posted and still not be posted. AC C is completely incompetent and if I had a choice to go elsewhere, I most definitely would, regardless of the costs

Sorry for your frustration, Nick. Email your professor if you can’t find your grades in Online Services.

I’ll right away get hold of your current rss feed because i won’t be able to to get the e-mail request backlink or e-newsletter program. Are there virtually any? Make sure you let myself learn to ensure that I could sign up to. Cheers.

I cannot find a single page listing all of the course options for each category, like we have now. In counseling, we are advising new students now, who will begin in the fall. It would help us to have that list and to give it to the new students.

The drop down online, only drops one category at a time, not allowing for a printed version with all course options showing.

Does this also apply to the Associates of Applied Science? Also if a student is not planning to transfer to a university?
