New for Fall Registration: Program Name Change for College Success Courses

Beginning with fall registration, ACC courses that help students develop their “college knowledge” or explore career options will be listed under the new program name Student Development (SDEV). These courses currently are found under the Human Development (HUDE) Program in the online catalog.

The impacted courses are:

  • Transition to College Success (HUDE 0111)
  • Frameworks for Mathematics and Collegiate Learning (EDUC 1300)
  • Effective Learning — Strategies for College Success (PSYC 1300)
  • Career Exploration/Planning (POFT 1300)

HUDE 0111 will become SDEV 0111. The other courses will keep their current prefixes and numbers.

Available to all new and returning students, these elective courses address the knowledge, skills, and behaviors that enhance student success in learning and in life.

Find details about the courses in the ACC catalog or visit the College Skills & Career Planning webpage.

Thanks for the update—please tell us: When does Fall registration start for 2014—for students who are just beginning (NO credit hours) and also for students with 25+ credit hours.
    Thanks–reply to my acc email.
