A graduate of Austin Community College’s Webmaster Certificate Program has received international honors for her capstone project. Amy Fowler, who completed the Continuing Education program last fall, won a 2014 Hermes Creative Gold Award for her work on the Louisiana Budget Project website.
“This is a great honor for Amy and for our Webmaster Certificate Program,” says Dr. Hector Aguilar, executive dean of Continuing Education. “The Hermes is an elite award with competition from around the world, so we are extremely proud of Amy’s accomplishment.”
The Hermes Creative Awards is an international contest for creative professionals, honoring achievement in print media, public relations/communications, and electronic media. Entries are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
