Faculty/staff move-in planned for mid-August
Faculty and staff are scheduled to begin moving into the campus mid-August. Highland Campus Manager Linda Morrison will provide detailed moving instructions to impacted faculty and staff. She will be at the campus beginning August 5.
The campus will open to students on August 13.
Something exciting is starting here
Classes begin at ACC’s 11th campus Monday, August 25. As of late July, duplicated enrollment for the location was almost 2,400 students.
The opening of the 200,000-square-foot campus is the first phase of a larger project to redevelop the mall and surrounding area into a regional center of educational excellence and mixed-use development. See an overview of the project at From Bunker to Brilliance: ACC Highland Campus progresses toward August opening.
Also, ACC’s Board of Trustees in July authorized negotiations for an agreement for Rackspace to lease the former Dillard’s women’s store location. The partnership is expected to bring paid internships for ACC students, enhancement of tech training, and other education benefits.
