ACC Hosts Summer Bash
Austin--Austin Community College Student Activities Office is sponsoring a summer festival at the Riverside Campus, 1020 Grove Blvd., on Friday, July 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
You can take a plunge down a giant 35-foot inflatable slide, cool off at the misting tents or join the fun in the water balloon tent. The activities are free of charge and open to the community.
Students and prospective students will be able to speak with representatives from ACC's Career Center Services, Admissions and Registration, Student Outreach and ACC student organizations at the information tables.
Music by Jammin' 105.9 radio station will broadcast live on-site. Covert Buick will showcase its new line of Daewoo cars. Other community sponsors will feature food and entertainment.
