ACC Presents Historical Lectures
What: Bob Lain Historical Lectures

Background
The Bob Lain Historical Lectures feature several Austin Community College faculty who will present material based upon their recent historical research and publications in various journals and books. ACC history professors will be lecturing on a variety of 19th century topics, such as the employment of regular troops among Latin American militia, cotton merchants and economic development in the Houston-Galveston area, crimes in Reconstruction-era San Antonio, and white violence committed against black women in Reconstruction Texas.
The series is free and open to the public.
