Test Dates 

MATD 0390, Intermediate Algebra - Spring 2012

Take each test at the ACC testing center you told Nancy Miller during the dates it is scheduled to be available unless you tell Nancy you want to take it early. Visit http://www.austincc.edu/testctr/ for required information about testing center policies and procedures. Remember that:

1. You will need to know some information about your course.

·        Synonym number: 48832 section 090

·        Course Abbreviation: MATD

·        Course Number: 0390

·        Test Number: Pre-test or Test #1 (will change with each test)

·        Instructor Name: Nancy Miller, be sure to use my first and last name as 2 tests were misplaced last year for just using Miller.

·        Instructor Home Campus: PIN

Be sure testing center does not give you an Elementary Algebra test or different test number than you request or different instructor's test.

2. You will need to show a valid ACC photo ID.

3. You must use the testing center that you selected on your online orientation form unless you notify Nancy Miller.

4. You need to bring pencils or pens and a non- graphing calculator. Paper will be provided for you at the testing center. The testing center might loan you a non-graphing calculator if you forget yours.

You may have time to study some while you wait. Get a good night's sleep the night before your test, and eat high protein before test. Allow plenty of time before closing time. Many students take about 2 hours on the tests in this course.

Test dates

Take ....Test 1, March 1-7 or late dates with 3 point penalty March 8-21 with no testing during spring break March 12-18

Take ....Test 2, March 22-28 or late dates with 3 point penalty March 29- April 4

Take ....Test 3, April 26-May 2, or late dates with 3 point penalty only May 3-6 in Austin, RR, or CYP ACC testing centers. If you must take your tests in San Marcos or Fredericksburg May 1, is the deadline.

Take ....MATD comprehensive departmental Final Exam May 3-8.......... Notice the early deadline on this test. Due to the deadline for submitting final grades, you may not take this test late except at PIN campus testing center late. Late still means before noon, Thursday, May 10 with Nancy's permission. ( If you are taking your exam at the Fredericksburg, or San Marcos Center Testing Centers, you must take your Final Exam and test 3 by May. 1st, or take them in Austin)
