For nonprofits wishing to engage lawyers and for lawyers wishing to get engaged with a nonprofit, the place to be is the Connecting Lawyers and Nonprofits on September 7, 2006 at 5:30 pm (location to be announced).

The Austin Young Lawyers Association "Lawyers as Leaders" program, in collaboration with the Center for Community-Based & Nonprofit Organizations at Austin Community College and the Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations (TANO), invites representatives of nonprofit organizations and lawyers and law students to come together to meet each other and discuss specific ways to be of help to each other.

If you are a nonprofit organization interested engaging a lawyer or law student to participate in and/ or assist your organization and/or serve on your Board of Directors, click here to complete a survey of your needs and interests as well as reserve a table at the September 7th event to display your literature and seat your representative(s).

If you are unable to have a representative at the event and would like to have your literature at a general table, please e-mail lawyers@tano.org and let us know that; so we can plan accordingly. We will then advise you on the details of the getting the literature to us for the evening.
