Students taking flex-entry courses have to meet a minimum typing speed in order to receive their course materials. POFT 1127 Introduction to Keyboarding and POFI 1204 Computer Fundamentals: MS Windows/Outlook are the only courses that do not have a typing prerequisite. Typing prerequisites for other courses are as follows:
POFT 1371 |

POFT 1231 |

ITSW 1310 |

Students who cannot meet their prerequisite timings during the semester's Add/Drop period should consider taking keyboarding to improve their typing speed or register for a later session, which gives them more time to meet the prerequisite.
