Representatives of Fonda San Miguel restaurant present the ACC Foundation with a check for $10,000.00 during the ACC Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, April 10, 2023, in building 3000 at the Highland Campus. The money will be used to offer scholarships for Culinary Arts students.

Create a Scholarship

The Foundation has awarded more than $14 million in scholarships to thousands of deserving students. Still, applicants consistently outnumber available awards. Through the generosity of supporters, ACC can extend scholarship opportunities to more students.

Scholarship Donation Opportunities

Annual Scholarship

Scholarships may carry the name of an individual or organization with a minimum contribution of $2,500. The funds are awarded in full within one year. Scholarships may be “restricted” to a specific program or “unrestricted” for any course of study at ACC. The criteria are developed by the donor and the ACC Foundation.

Endowed Scholarship

The Foundation has almost 140 endowments ranging from $15,000 to more than $2 million, serving various programs and students at ACC.

An endowed scholarship is perpetual; the principle remains intact and only the interest is awarded. The scholarships may be “restricted” to a specific program or “unrestricted” for any course of study at ACC.

There is a naming opportunity associated with an endowed scholarship with a minimum amount of $15,000. After the endowment level is reached, the scholarships are awarded annually carrying the name of the company or individual. Additional gifts can continue to be contributed to the endowment, which enables additional scholarships to awarded.

Memorial Scholarship

Scholarships may carry a name in memory with a minimum contribution of $1,000. The funds are awarded in full within one year. Scholarships may be “restricted” to a specific program or “unrestricted” for any course of study at ACC. The criteria are developed by the donor or the family and the ACC Foundation.
