Community Engagement is a function of the Office of Equity and Inclusion. The section serves to assist in the development of meaningful and effective partnerships with groups and organizations who are equally committed to ensuring a more welcoming and supportive environment for all, regardless of race, creed, color, religion, gender, socio-economic status, or sexual orientation.
Held at each campus throughout the semester to facilitate dialogue between faculty, staff, students and community members. The dialogue is meant to enhance relationships and share strategies for addressing how to increase student success, especially for underserved populations.
Monthly meetings led by the County Sheriff’s Department to engage community partners to discuss resources with a focus on equity and inclusion. ACC has an opportunity to present our programs and services on the second Friday of each month.
