As EVP, Finance and Administration, Neil Vickers is Chief Financial Officer, directly responsible for the College’s budget, financing and investment activities. In addition to these responsibilities, he oversees a number of departments within the Finance and Administration division including Finance & Budget, Human Resources, Information Technology and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Accountability.
As of January 12, 2017, Mr. Vickers is also Interim EVP of Campus Planning & Operations, overseeing the College's 11 (soon to be 12) campuses in four Central Texas counties. This division includes the departments of Facilities and Construction, Campus Operations, ACC Police, and Environmental Health & Safety.
Mr. Vickers has served in a number of positions at ACC since 1997. Prior to taking the position of Executive Vice President, he held the titles of Vice President of Finance & Budget, Budget Coordinator, Financial Report Specialist, and Accounts Payable Specialist.
Mr. Vickers earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Accountancy from Texas State University. His coursework includes over 40 credit hours taken at ACC. Mr. Vickers has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 2003. He teaches as an adjunct faculty member in ACC's Accounting Department.
He occasionally teaches for the ACC Accounting Department as an Adjunct Faculty.
