Grant Accounting

Grant Accounting (also known as Restricted Accounts) is a unit within the Finance & Budget department. We provide post-award accounting to grantors and departments within the Austin Community College District. We ensure that all of our awards comply with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, circulars, and Austin Community College internal controls. 

Additional services we provide include:

  • federal, state, local, private and gift account setup
  • grant compliance and management
  • financial reporting to Budget Authorities within the college and grantors
  • requisition review and approvals
  • award billing, collection & final closeouts
  • audit response and support
  • grant training and development
